The Witness has the most impressive and consistent design for teaching new concepts. This game is an open-world puzzle game, and different parts of its world have different types of puzzles. Each new kind of puzzle starts you with the basic concept, and then methodically adds new rules and complexity. By the end of a puzzle group, the puzzles introduce clever wrinkles, which are both challenging and rewarding to solve. However, don't expect much in terms of a plot. Enjoy its world, and bask in its impressive design for teaching.
