Microsoft has released an updated versions of its Halo franchise on PC as part of its Master Chief Collection. I remember the first time I played Halo co-op on an original Xbox during my middle-school years. I didn't own an Xbox, so I would frequently ask my parents to drive me to a friend's house to play split-screen Halo. Its campaign is probably only tied with Half-life for number of times played. Recently, I've increased the Halo count by one. The 2019 rerelease looks fine, but I couldn't figure out how to fix the odd shadows. I'm using the ReShade mod for saturation, depth of field, and other effects. Outside of the mod, the assault rifle sounds as great as ever with it's clickety purr dispensing death to aliens.
