SCREENSHOTS – The Witcher 2

The Witcher 2 was the first video game on my computer where I could no longer play on ultra graphics with impunity. Four years later, the only upgrade I've made to this same rig is the size of its dust bunnies. However, despite lower graphic settings, the game looked gorgeous.

Not only does the game look fantastic, but it is great. In the Witcher games, you play as Geralt, a professional monster slayer who is as ta'verene as any Wheel of Time character, rugged as Viggo Mortensen playing Aragorn, and always in the middle of someone else's mess. But don't worry it's nothing his two swords can't handle. Yes, two swords: a silver sword for dealing with monsters, and a steel sword for dealing with humanswho tend to be more egregious than the monsters. If that wasn't enough, he also has potions and magic abilities, because it's a fantasy RPG. Seriously, what kind of fantasy RPG would NOT have potions and magic in it?

Below are screenshots from my two playthroughs. Two because I had to see the different story lines depending on choices made...and I wanted to smash up some more baddies after the first playthrough.
